Psychoeducation Courses
for You & for Professionals
Courses for people who don’t work in mental health, and professional courses for people working in mental health and allied health.
You make your own decisions.
Have your own opinions.
Know what matters to you.
Or do you?
Because we all bring stuff with us.
Psychoeducation helps us understand how we think, feel, behave and make choices.
That can help us notice our habits, question our interpretations, and consider what we want to do differently.
The “holistic” part looks at the whole person. Body and mind. Soul and spirit. Our experiences, relationships, and circumstances. What we believe, what matters to us, and our questions about meaning, purpose and mystery.
You might be here because your feelings take over, you keep reacting in ways you regret, or life feels too much.
If you’re a practitioner, you might want to examine your interpretations and the decisions you make under pressure.
The books and courses give you explanations, everyday examples, and questions to help you make sense of your experience and consider how you want to respond.
I draw on psychology, neuroscience, depth psychology, and spiritual intelligence.
I do the heavy lifting. I research, distil, and translate complex material into clear, accessible language.
I also distinguish research evidence from theory, interpretation, and metaphor.
This is education, not therapy, counselling, coaching, or treatment. You decide what is useful for your life or professional practice.
Explore the books and courses to see what fits your needs.
We start with what we can observe, feel and know.
Ordinary life matters.
Not everything meaningful can be neatly explained. We leave room for what we don't know.
We can stay open without believing everything, dismissing everything or rushing to certainty.
I’ve spent my working life learning, teaching and trying to make complicated things easier to understand and use.
